Nothing More is phenomenal live. Extreme talent!
I love the vocals and that everyone plays an instrument. The sound was clear and well balanced. Bravo to their engineer. This was the first concert I've been to in 20 years, and only the 2nd concert in my life. Nothing More did an amazing show, and I would pay good money to see them again for sure. I'd pay to see another show in a heartbeat. HellYeah was fantastic. I also was especially moved by his spotlighting the children's miracle network and the 17yr old boy with cystic fibrosis. Both kids he brought on stage seemed a little overwhelmed, but Ivan handled it beautifully. He seems to really get what truly matters in life. Very entertaining show and the band seemed very genuine in their appreciation of the audience. Jeff Foxworthy started out sounding just not quite right. Drums not loud and clear enough at first. The did a great job. The whole show was well worth seeing. Worth every penny. Like a noisy blender. Which isn't always bad, depending on your mood really. Volbeat was good, but the engineering made them sound muddy and drowning each other out. HellYeah did a great job. Very powerful, and the acoustic ballads were very moving. I've always loved FFDP for their lyrics and their powerfully clean and accurate sound. You feel each drum beat like your own pulse. Each note from the guitars was solid on its own, and yet supported each others sound. It just sounds so good. Bravo to Ivan for proudly displaying the US Flag, and showing it proper respect as he folded it back up and handed it to what looked like a boy scout. That was awesome. This was quickly sorted out and everything sounded right on about 1 1/2 songs into their show.
